Program details

Malaysia My Second Home (MM2H) underwent a major overhaul in May 2025, introducing a tiered structure:

  • Silver tier: USD 150K deposit + MYR 600K property
  • Gold tier: USD 500K + MYR 1M property
  • Platinum tier: USD 1M + MYR 2M property
  • Special Finance Zone: USD 65K (or USD 32K if 50+)

Under 2025 rules, property must be purchased before application and held for 10+ years. A minimum of 90 days per year presence is required.

Family inclusion is generous, covering spouse, children up to 21 (or 34 if unmarried), and parents or in-laws. Foreign-source income is not taxed.

Important: MM2H is not a path to permanent residency or citizenship. It provides long-term renewable residence for those seeking a second home base.
